Aikido Uniforms

Aikido uniforms need to be tough, and therefore most aikido students tend to go with either a good weight karate gi or a judo gi, as these will withstand the throws and self defence moves practised in aikido.

The Hakama is generally used by black belt aikido students, although, in some cases, your club may use these for all students.

Aikido is one of the oldest martial arts practised, and is an excellent self defence art.
