BJJ Gi

The BJJ Gi has been specifically designed for Brazilian jiu jitsu, a ground based martial art, derived originally from Judo. With wider shoulder area and a tapered body, the BJJ Gi gives greater mobility on the ground, whilst the tapered cut and fit makes it harder for your opponent to get a firm grip unless they know what they are doing.

BJJ Gi, which are also known as BJJ Kimono, tend to be a lot tougher that traditional Judo style uniforms, and made from gold or pearl weaves, making them light but tough. Many martial artists are adding BJJ to their overall game, especially grappling arts.

Blue and White are the traditional colours for BJJ Gi's, and are the usual choice for competitions.
