Forearm Guards

Forearm Guards are recommended in most forms of sparring, and are often mandatory in Taekwondo, especially WTF taekwondo. A good pair of forearm guards will offer protection if you are mistakenly kicked in the arm, or you perhaps don't quite get that block technique correct.

You can build muscle to protect the forearm, and that was the traditional way, but in the modern world of martial arts, safety has become paramount, so we would always recommend you protect yourself, and forearm protection is often one area overlooked, but often results in more injuries than we realise. For WTF taekwondo, you will need a pair or WTF approved forearm protectors.
