Karate Mitts

When karate sparring, known as Kumite, you will require a pair of karate mitts, traditionally blue or red, and, in some cases, with the additional thumb cover. Karate is an open hand martial art, so the mitts have been designed to practise Kumite using traditional block and punch techniques. Well padded mitts offer great protection, reducing injury and leaving you free to enjoy sparring without worrying about getting hurt.
