What a fantastic weekend at the Abu Dhabi Pro Trials in London for some of Black Eagle’s sponsored athletes, with TWO Golds and a Silver medal placing.
Yasmin Wilson became the first British Female to win a Pro Trial, scooping Gold in her Category and Absolute, along with Luke Costello doing the same in his divisions, and beating a double World Champion in the process!

Black Eagle sponsored US BJJ athlete, Georgette Oden, stepped up to the plate at the IBJJF Houston International Open, winning Silver in the Absolute!
Georgette was pitched against an opponent 3 weight classes heavier, but took her all the way in the battle for a Gold. Georgette was wearing her favourite BJJ Gi, a Single Weave, fully embroidered to her specification, and, in her words “the best BJJ Gi she owns”!

Congratulations to 10 year old William Booth of Wymondham Judo Club, who scooped Gold at the recent Southend International Judo Championships against tough opposition.
William is already a seasoned competitor for his age, winning national championships including 10 golds and 1 silver medal before in 2010 before the Southend Internationals! William is also coached by his father, David Booth, and has been actively training in Judo since the age of 4!
The Swedish BJJ Open held on the weekend of November 13th and 14th saw Leoni Munslow scoop Gold in both the her division purple belt category, and the absolute!
What makes this even more special is the fact that Leoni usually fights at Light/Middle weight, but had to step up to the Heavyweight division to get a fight.
Andy Roberts BJJ Academy featured as Gym of the week on Sky Sports Cagefighter series. Andy is also seen wearing one of our Black Eagle Mundial BJJ Kimonos, the Special Edition Black.
For a début fight in MMA, it was pretty spectacular, 32 seconds to KO his very first opponent in his very first fight! And, even better, Nick decided that he wanted to wear and promote Black Eagle MMA Clothing and MMA Equipment.
