Taekwondo

Taekwondo has two very different styles, ITF Taekwondo and WTF Taekwondo. Our uniforms are predominantly used in WTF Taekwondo, but our sparring equipment is suitable for both.e styles.

Choosing a Taekwondo Dobok is very straight forward, with all white uniforms required for all colour Kup belt ranks, and Black trimmed for black belt ranks. There are different models in each style, and, as is usual, teh better you become, the better uniform you will want!! All our basic taekwondo suits come with a white taekwondo belt.

Sparring equipment for WTF Taekwondo is generally WTF Approved, and requires a Head Guard, Body Protector, Sparring Gloves, Forearm Guards, Shin Guards and Groin Guard. For competition, these must be WTF approved.

If you practise ITF Taekwondo, the usual sparring equipment needed is Dipped Foam, and we offer a comprehensive range of CE approved products to protect you from head to foot!

Training equipment for Taekwondo makes use of punch bags, focus mitts, kit shields as well as both breakable wooden boards and rebreakable plastic boards. Our range of Taekwondo training equipment is large and varied, with plenty of choice to suit individual as well as club needs.
